0120-02 Bullseye Frit - Canary yellow - Medium

0120-02 Bullseye Frit - Canary yellow - Medium

SKU: 0120-02

This frit is small grains of Bullseye Tested Compatible COE90 Glass.
It is crushed, graded, screened and then magnetically cleaned.
Used by Glass Fusers, Glassblowers, Lampworkers, Glass Casters.
Can be melted with kilns, torches, furnaces and gloryholes.
Can be used with other Bullseye compatible products like sheet glass, stringers, confetti, etc.
Some artists also use it with Uroboros COE90 products.

Used as a design element for a decorative splash of color .
Sprinkle it on your glass for a spotty, mottled, texture or color blends and shaded designs.
Can be used with sheet glass or on it's own. Build an entire project with this glass frit.
For example, Richard LaLonde
uses a CMC and water mixture in a squeeze bottle to create a raised line dam.
He then pours in loose frit to fill in between the raised lines.
See our book 'Fused Glass Art and Technique' on this technique.

Another technique uses a similar medium to create 'glass clay'.
Glass clay can be shaped, and when dried, carved into 3 dimensional shapes.
The color density is the same as the sheet glass. Due to the spaces between the
grains, a 1/8 in to 1/4 in
thickness is needed to reach the color intensity of the corresponding color in sheet glass.
Partial fusing the frit will trap air bubbles in the glass, the smaller the frit, the smaller the bubble.
Also the smaller the frit, the more quantity of air bubbles. The larger the frit, the fewer and larger the air bubbles.
Used in hot glass work such as light painting, pate de verre and kiln casting.

Our frit bowl #6111 allows for some easy hotglass applications.
